Overview
You will be responsible for providing in depth triage and investigation for the following: IDS/IPS, Full Packet Capture devices, Firewall, DDoS detection and mitigation, availability and SIEM platforms - looking for potential threats, vulnerabilities and indicators of compromise. The role involves acting as an escalation point for all members of the Cyber Monitoring team, providing assistance and mentoring where necessary. You will also act as an incident handler during high priority incidents and provide incident remediation and prevention documentation and recommendations to customers. What we are looking for Previous experience working as a Security Analyst and evidence of acting as an escalation point in the team Practical knowledge of security and networking toolsets such as SIEM, IDS, Vulnerability Management, Availability Monitoring, packet capture and other threat detection technologies. Knowledge of common network protocols. Knowledge of Windows and Linux based operating systems. Experience in the extensive analysis of common security incidents. Any relevant certifications such as CREST: CRIA / CMRE / CNIA OR GIAC: GCIA / GCIH would be highly advantageous What's in it for you?
