This is a LSA role where you will be working with some very vulnerable young students and adults, displaying may different types of behaviour. Some will be incredibly charismatic, yet, confrontational. Contrast that to some of the Adults who have autism, who could well be very withdrawn and not willing to give you an insight into their life. Active listening is incredibly important here, especially when working with vulnerable students aged 9-16, especially boys, is crucial. They have been abandoned and been given false promise a lot of the time. 80% of the students have charges and convictions. -Rehabilitation of Offenders, Restorative Justice - this LSA role for Criminology Graduate Woking will give you the experience of working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues. It is my pleasure to be able to work with a SEMH/ASC/Autism Secondary school in Woking, Surrey; they require an aspiring Education or Clinical psychologist who wants to work 1:1 with pupils who have ASC, EBD and a range of other behavioural needs. The school is reasonable large for a specialist provision, with 80 students.
