Overview
Advantage are currently recruiting for a guillotine operator to run the Polar 137AT-XT Guillotine for one of our clients based in the Bradford area, to join their production team on a temporary basis with a view to go permanent for the right candidate. You will be required to work within a busy factory environment operating the Polar Guillotine machine. Experience of working on a Polar Guillotine machine would be ideal; 2 years would be preferable although full training will be given. If you are interested in learning other print finishing machinery, opportunities are there and further training can be given for the individual to progress. Duties will also include working closely with the production manager to ensure work is guillotined for the working day. Programming of the guillotine and other day to day duties therefore flexibility is the key. Hours of work will be 08:00 - 16:00 while training and then shifts of; Earlies - 06:30 - 14:00 Lates - 14:00 - 22:00 The pay rate is £10.50 per hour, any overtime worked through the week will be paid at time and a half. Saturdays will be paid at time and a half for the first 4 hours then any hours worked after that will be paid at double time. Sundays will also be paid double time.
