Administrator / Buyer A fantastic opportunity to join a hugely successful contractor in Buckinghamshire as a Buyer This your chance to join a successful team of 8 who work across a number of different construction sectors. The role - This role would suit an ambitious Administrator who is looking to develop and move into a career in Construction Buying In this role you will assisting an experienced Buyer. You dealing with everything involved in getting a construction site up and running - site set up including site cabins, services (gas and electric etc) You will be joining an experience team who undertake procurement across the Civil Engineering, Industrial and utilities sectors This is a unique opportunity where you will be given the autonomy to seek out the best rates and work with the design / site team to ensure the materials ordered are cost effective You will enjoy working in an open plan office in a relaxed, lively environment where you will be challenged and up skilled The team are from a variety of construction sectors / backgrounds and play to each others strengths and while you will specialise in certain products it is very much a team effort The department head has been with the company for a number of years and has built a strong team who really enjoy working together - staff retention is excellent as he strives to make it a fun, enjoyable place to work What else is on offer? 25 days holiday - increasing up to a maximum of 30 depending on length or service (option to buy 3 extra days per year) The company will contribute 6% if you contribute 2% Bonus up to 15% Life insurance Income protection Training Subsidised on site cafe The right person - Buyer Candidates from all backgrounds will be considered You could be an Administrator looking to move into Buying You will have a good understanding of Excel You will be bright, hard working and personable Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8.30-5.30.
