Overview

Head of Estates Barton Mills 6 Month Contract £30.19 - £36.39 per hour Our client is looking for a professional and technical individual to work with a well-respected organisation. Duties: You will be the single point of contact for the day to day issues of estate capital procurement. You will be responsible for services including property management, design management and the property database and environmental management. You will be responsible for the maintenance, preparing maintenance programmes and oversee implementation. Ensure the effective operation of service level contracts and routinely monitor service quality. You will be the trusts expert and advisor providing specialised advice for all of the property related matters. You will be ensuring that information and management systems are updated. You will be responsible for overseeing the development of the strategy plan, environment strategy and carbon reduction. You will be ensuring that the development of the trust's estate is conducted in a manner that reduces environmental impact. Responsible for condition surveys, inspections and risk assessments and providing the training for staff. Lead and support the trust to manage compliance with estate and environmental related requirements. Investigate, respond and make direct contact with complainants as required and preparing response documentation. Ensure that plant and equipment is prepared for insurance examination, monitoring that all necessary repairs are undertaken. Manager substantial budgets for provision of services. Control expenditure and manage resources in compliance with standing financial instructions. Other: You will need to be very flexible at you may need be required to work at any of the trust's sites. Driving Licence (essential) 5 Hours
