Overview

A dynamic, well-established firm and one of my key clients is a 12-Partner firm with 80 employees and cover 5 offices in the London area are looking for a talented, growth-driven ACCA or ACA-Qualified Outsourcing Senior to add to their team. They have a varied client portfolio with UK and International clients and offer partner-lead service to give clients the best experience possible, helping them with growth plans and business strategy, company formation and expansion into the UK and International markets. This new role is for their office in a charming part of Thameside Surrey, in a bustling commercial area with shops, restaurants and transport links easily accessible into London and surrounding suburbs. Your role: You will have your own portfolio of clients and be the sole point of contact for them o Handling complex Management accounts preparation Multiple entities, multicurrency’s o VAT, Tax and Bookkeeping knowledge to review work of junior staff; returns and accounts prepared monthly, quarterly and annually Tax advisory including VAT (EC Sales, International, etc.) o Budgets and cashflow, business partnering with other services including the Payroll departments and General Practitioners o Liaising with external auditors o Makeup of portfolio includes SMEs, domestic and international clients in the Americas and EMEA. Managing Junior staff o Both onsite and outsourced o Reviewing their work and making sure it is completed in a timely manner and within allocated budgets o Ensuring needed adjustments and corrections are made o Passing your knowledge along to Junior staff and aiding in their development This is a new position created because of growth; the company adds new positions every year You will be reporting directly to several of the Partners and liaising frequently with Senior Management to facilitate business partnering and smooth running of the firm Client contact o Addressing queries, deciding when to escalate to Senior Management o Contributing to the company’s bottom line, cross selling the firm’s other services which includes corporate finance and insolvency o Some assignments on client premises (London area, no overnight stays necessary) Your profile: ACCA or ACA qualified Interested in professional development and keeping your skills fresh Desired systems include Microsoft Excel, Sage, QuickBooks, Xero Great knowledge of payroll, pensions, management accounts, bookkeeping Competitive benefits package Because our client has a portfolio of clients who expect the best level of service, they need to attract the best people for their Outsourcing Senior role .
