Overview

I am currently working with a busy and successful wills & estate planning company that is seeking an experienced legal & compliance manager to join its offices in Leicester city centre. The company provides advice on all aspects of wills and estate planning, as well as asset protection. As legal & compliance manager, you will provide legal expertise, advice and support to senior management (approx. 10 people), along with overall responsibility for company policy & procedures, client complaints and GDPR. You will be required to investigate and communicate with management and clients regarding any client issues or complaints to achieve a satisfactory outcome. You will also be required to liaise with, and work alongside, one of the main business partners offering executor and trustees services. This opportunity requires you to be driven, enthusiastic, commercially minded, a strong team player, versatile and able to work efficiently as per your own initiative whilst delivering a high level of professional service. You will be required to implement compliant processes and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent attention to detail. As this Leicester based company's legal & compliance manager, you would be required to promote the company and develop further business opportunities, providing expertise and advice to staff in all areas of compliance and regulatory matters. The role will also involve handling breaches/incidents, GDPR monitoring, reviewing and monitoring all processes to ensure that they are compliant, maintaining department logs/compliant records and preparing information for senior managerial reports. The company is based just a few minutes from the train station so is perfect for those commuting on public transport.
