Agricultural Solicitor

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the South West's premier Legal 500 firms and advise businesses in the agricultural sector. My client provides advice to farmers, landlords and tenants of agricultural land and businesses in the agricultural sector. The firm acts for owners of landed estates to provide advice on matters such as property issues, trusts, tax, succession planning and sporting rights. It also advises on diversification, the sale and purchase of farms and rural businesses, alongside handling agricultural disputes, environmental issues, access issues, entitlements and grants. This agricultural solicitor vacancy is a little different as you will be heavily participating in business development, building on existing client relationships and creating new ones. To be able to fulfill the business development element of this role, it is likely you should already be a reputed and credible agricultural property lawyer in the region. You should have at least 2-3 years' experience within agriculture/farming property law and have an understanding of the issues affecting farming businesses. Excellent salary and benefits package available as commensurate with a Legal 500 regional firm.
