Overview

Our client is a manufacturer of special purpose machinery, due to expansion they are looking for a skilled and experienced apprentice trained or time served machinist who is used to operating, setting and part programming of CNC millers and lathes to complete 1 offs and specials in their machine shop. The work will be mainly Turning and Milling. The hours are 37 spread over 4 nights per week between Monday and Thursday with Friday being overtime when worked. Machinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/Machining Role: Production of components to drawings Monitor ad request tooling when required Ensure a clean and safe working area Occasional assistance in the fitting shop. Skills and Experience Apprentice-trained in Mechanical Engineering Able to use a wide range of measuring instruments Able to use the most common conventional machines in a M/C shop environment Machinist/Turner/Miller/Borer/Machining/Centre Lathe If you like the idea of a 4 night week then APPLY NOW
