Gain IoT Warrington, Cheshire - Commute from Liverpool / Manchester £38,000 - £45000 pa basic Benefits Established Microsoft Software house with strong public/private customer base require a commercially experienced C#.Net Developer to join an established busy team working on a mix of enhancements and new functionality for a range of existing and new clients. This role offers opportunities to get involved with the next generation of browser-based Project, Programme, Asset and maintenance management solutions at their new modern office in Warrington. Easy access to M6/M56 corridor and free parking on offer. My client is embarking a programme of product modernisation with a key focus on areas like IoT integration, mobile technologies and API development. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding team in a technical and challenging role, helping deliver new features and to contribute towards the future of our products. The role will also involve supporting existing software applications, which will include problem identification and resolution. Required skills and experience: 5 years' experience within a .NET development environment using ASP.NET, C# and JavaScript and a background in projects using SQL Server databases. You will also have a problem-solving and self-motivated attitude with the ability to pick up new skills quickly, a natural ability to innovate and a passion for top quality software development. As the ideal candidate, you will be customer focused with excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills. Current stack (you should be skilled with these): C#.Net within the ASP.NET / MVC framework Microsoft SQL Server. Queries and stored procedures WinForms - soon to be replaced JavaScript/with Ajax/JQuery Desirable Skills: Reporting with Crystal or similar ADO.Net or similar In addition, you will possess a strong personality, enthusiasm, dynamism, energy and team player soft skills that will inspire successful development. My client adheres to Agile methodology and would expect you to be comfortable with those working practices. Although this is by no means essential this may suit a developer with previous involvement with Workflow, Asset Management and/or ticketing type systems that have an element of back end integration with accounting products like Sage or any other ERP package Salary and Package: Up to £45,000 per annum dependent upon experience 25 days a year holiday Stakeholder pension scheme (up to 6% employer contribution) Software Developer.
