Commercial Finance Analyst - Doncaster - £25,000 - £32,000 This well respected international business, who are a market leader are looking to recruit a Commercial Finance Analyst to report to the Commercial Manager for a newly created analytically focused role. This is an exciting opportunity that will see you play a pivotal role in driving the business forward. This would see you assisting the business in controlling and maintaining the core pricing and business master data, commercial reporting and supporting with commercial initiatives. The role is supporting the commercial sales teams with information requirements, pricing, rebates, contracts, commercial and sales reporting. Responsibilities for the Commercial Finance Analyst will include : Being the link between the commercial, core finance team and the wider business Management of pricing, pricing structures and pricing adjustments Resolving ad-hoc pricing queries Support with cost and margin analysis of new and existing products Daily validation, authorisation and confirmation of contract support documentation Supporting the commercial team with financial modelling for tenders, contract renewals and quotes Financial sales reporting, including analysing variances to budgets, forecasting and highlighting risks and opportunities Sales profitability analysis Sales out reporting, analysing sales v targets and commission calculations Creation and managing the payments of rebates Development and implementation of commercial KPI’s, then reporting monthly Evaluation, analysing and reporting pre and post promotional activity Monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc commercial reporting on company and customer performance Support the Sales Director and Regional Managers with Ad-hoc reporting Assisting in the review and development of new and existing commercial reports Systems and reporting development for reporting using Power BI The Ideal candidate will be: This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and motivated Commercial Finance Analyst who is confident with analysing and interpreting large volumes of data. Actively studying CIMA or ACCA with exposure in a similar commercial finance role You will be self-motivated, energetic and proactive team player with excellent communication skills as you will need to be able to communicate well with other departments. The Commercial Analyst will need to be highly numerate, have good initiative, a thinker, have a collaborative approach and be confident using Excel.
