Overview
My client is an established firm of Financial Planners with offices across the UK, group FUM over £1bn, 80 staff, 19 Planners. They have a vacancy for an entry level Adviser to buddy up with one of their top performing Advisers in the Bromsgrove office, who currently has too many clients to look after. You will be working closely with them and once ready will be allocated a significant portion of the client bank. On top of this they have exclusive relationship with a national firm of Accountants, who are backed by a Venture Capital firm and also rapidly growing via acquisition. This will be a major source of new business for you if you can engage with their Accountants. Also have a very successful Corporate/EB arm of the business with 3/4 major businesses on board. They hold fairly frequent surgeries/seminars with their employees and you will have the opportunity to work with them on a Private Client basis. You will be supported by a dedicated and qualified team of Paraplanners, Admin and Compliance staff from the Bromsgrove office leaving you free to focus on meeting clients. Salary will be up to £50,000 initially, reviewed annually in line with performance. You will also have significant opportunity to earn bonus, which is uncapped and is between 20% and 45% depending on how much you write. Also, recurring income this counts towards the target, so each year you are with the firm the target is effectively reduced and you earn more bonus. Some of the Advisers are at the point where the recurring income alone puts them ahead of target so any business they write they earn bonus on, they are earning £120,000 plus.
