Automation Test Engineer - Mid-level - £35k - £45k We're looking for a talented Automation Test Engineer who is looking to join a company offering great opportunities for career development. We're working with a growing digital business that is disrupting its market in a big way. You'll be joining an automation team who love to collaborative to evaluate and embrace new technologies as well improving the overall QA practices. Day to day you'll be joining a multi-disciplinary squad and as the Automation Test Engineer you'll be involved from the feature briefing / planning stage to ensure quality is being considered from an early stage. You'll help break the features into small tasks and identify the test types that will be applicable to each item in the sprint and then develop the Automation tests. You'll be working alongside the manual Tester to plan and create test cases for each piece of work and decide which of these needs to be automated. Skills / Experience required: You'll need to have 3 years of experience if automation testing along with a good knowledge of working in an Agile environment (ideally using Scrum/Kanban). You'll need to have experience in C#, .Net framework and have used Automation tools ideally Cypress / Selenium, and ideally Swagger / Postman tools. You'll ideally have a good understanding of working within the Micro-Services world and API automation testing experience. Experience of JavaScript, testing in CI/CD and BDD/Specflow would also be an advantage. As you'll be working very closely with the Developers it is essential that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to talk confidently within the squad.
