Overview
An exciting opportunity for a band 5/6 MSK physiotherapist is available near Inverness, Highland. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic physiotherapist to join the rehabilitation team within the MSK service in an NHS hospital. Job Type / Category The role is part time, 3 days per week based in the hospital. Applications from Band 5 or band 6 physiotherapists are welcome, including those who have just received their HCPC registration. Banding: Band 5/6 Speciality: MSK Physiotherapist Location: Nairn, Highland Days: 3 days per week (flexible as to which days this will be) Hours: 21.5 hours per week Type: Permanent contract You will be expected to provide a comprehensive service including diagnosis, treatment, appropriate management, onward referral and discharge to a diverse range of patients referred to the service. In addition you will have supervisory responsibility for band 4, band 5 and students within the team. The department offers a rolling in service training programme which you will lead and participate in. In addition you will have access to a first contact practitioner on site. The hospital offers inpatient rehabilitation, community outreach and cardiac rehabilitation. On occasion you may be asked to support inpatient services Required Education, Skills and Qualifications Previous MSK experience CSP and HCPC registration BSc Physiotherapy Benefits In-service training
