Registered Nurse Endoscopy Oxford Permanent (long days, between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm - Monday to Sunday) £26,000 - £32,000 At TTM Healthcare we are proud to have partnered with one of UK's largest specialist provider of diagnostic and healthcare solutions. They work to deliver the best care to patients across Acute and Primary care settings, offering a range of services including MRI, CT, DXA, Ultrasound, Mammography, X-ray, ENT & Interventional Cardiology and the newly acquired Endoscopy Units The overall responsibility within this role is to assist physicians in performing endoscopies. The duties of the endoscopy nurse include preparing sedation, monitoring the patient during the procedure, and providing after-care and instructions. Your Clinical Responsibilities: • Provide quality planned care across the endoscopy patient pathway, supporting and assisting the Endoscopy Practitioner Lead in the management and organisation of care provision within the endoscopy unit. • Support the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and the wider community. • Support the team in demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect, and dignity. • Develop own competence to deliver effective care and treatments through improving clinical/technical knowledge/skill, and expertise. To be eligible for the role, you will need to: • Have at least 1years acute nursing experience with NMC or HCPC registration. Experience in Endoscopy is preferred however training can be offered to the right candidates who are keen to develop in this field of nursing. • Be competent inadequate record-keeping and possess strong communication and IT skills • A strong ability to build long-lasting relationships with Consultants across the department.
