School Business Manager South Birmingham Competitive Hourly Rate Your new company This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and driven School Business Manager. They will be required to help take a lead on the school's support services. The successful candidate will become essential in the development of the growing school and focused team. An interim opportunity is now presenting itself to join a welcoming team of school office staff, working within a busy office environment. Your new role The school is located in South Birmingham. In this role as Business Manager, you will be responsible for providing professional leadership and management of school support staff with overall responsibility for Finance, Administration, HR, Facilities Management and IT. You will be managing the school's finances including budgeting, invoicing and petty cash, overseeing the administration team and liaising with site management. Your role will be to aid the strategic direction of the school including financial plans, change projects and procurement. What you'll need to succeed You will have proven experience of operational management of all aspects of business services, including finance, personnel, facilities and estates management, school administration, catering, ICT services and health and safety. You will need to be motivated, have excellent attention to detail, able to strategically plan and have strong administrative skills. Prior use or knowledge using school systems such as SIMS is essential.
