Overview
Software Automation Start-up: Off the back of a £40m valuation from their Series A funding, this automation start-up has ambitious plans of augmenting their data science team by up to 30 heads as well as bringing in multiple software engineer s focused on machine learning deployment. After the two co-founders met at Europe's most successful tech incubator they have grown the team to almost 20 people comprising of mostly Oxbridge researcher and ex-Microsoft researchers who have developed stellar machine learning algorithms for workforce automation. Their tool analysis clicks and keystrokes of a user's computers to identify repetitive tasks. Once these have been identified then their software looks to automate these tasks. Having built out a team of machine learning researchers they are looking now for a machine learning engineer/software engineer to deploy their models. About The Senior Software Engineer (Machine Learning) Role: As a senior software engineer, you will be responsible for spearheading the deployment and productionisation of some extremely complex machine learning models. You will work with the customer-facing tool as well as the back-end models. Key Responsibilities for Senior Software Engineer (Machine Learning): Oversee the deployment of machine learning models Develop and deploy sequential pattern mining algorithms. Work with clustering algorithms on sequences of high-dimensional events Scope to work on NLP and Computer Vision algorithms moving forward. About Senior Software Engineer (Machine Learning): Ideally, you will have experience in the deployment and engineering of machine learning models in the past at a high-growth tech start up (UK based) Essential Skills and Competencies of the Senior Software Engineer (Machine Learning): MSc of higher in computer science or related field 3 years of experience in the deployment of machine learning models Expertise in Python and some back-end tools The ideal Senior Software Engineer will receive a salary ranging between £60,000 - £90,000 depending on experience. The overall package includes 28 days of holiday, up to £6,000 bonus, company healthcare, pension scheme, and flexible working.
