Accounts Assistant - Swansea £11.00 - £11.79 per Hour Holiday Pay 1 Year Fixed Term Contract A hugely successful organisation based in the Swansea area is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated candidate for a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity. This exciting position has been created in order to assist the finance department across a variety of functions, with a strong emphasis on the sales ledger and credit control side. They are seeking a degree educated candidate with a background within Accounting, or an AAT studier. Working closely and reporting into the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be play a leading role in all the transactional elements of the organisation. Responsibilities will include: 1) Entering daily purchase/sales ledger invoices onto the system 2) Dealing with the credit control function, ensuring debtors are chased in a professional manner and debtor days are kept up to date 3) Liaise with various managers across the business to ensure orders are placed correctly 4) Bank reconciliations 5) Inter-company accounts 6) Intrastat 7) Expenses 8) Journal entry 9) Dealing with foreign currencies 10) Reconciliation of the wages journal 11) Deal with any finance related queries 12) Filing and archiving of all associated paperwork 13) Experience of Microsoft Excel and SAP would be highly advantageous, good IT skills are vital for this role It is essential you possess strong communication skills, coupled with a 'can do attitude’.
