Role Purpose: The role holder is a member of the DS Solution Delivery team ensuring that allocated projects requiring IT changes and third party software or applications are coordinated and delivered as complete solutions in line with our business expectations. The role should be seen as the coordinating 'glue’ between IT Delivery, Third Party suppliers and Change Management. External Relationships: Third party software and application suppliers delivering into the IT elements of a change project. Internal Relationships: Works at all levels within the organisation with a primary focus on supporting change projects through the integration of in-house and third party systems. Key Tasks: Initiates and plans integration activities establishing their content, format and base lines (plan, estimate schedule etc.) Partners with Change Delivery and IT management to establish progress and direction of the IT solution integration by achieving goals, reaching targets, solving problems, mitigating risks. Actively communicates staffing requirements and changes to staffing requirements to IT Capability Development Managers. Continuously measures and monitors progress to ensure that the IT project is delivered on time and that it meets or exceeds expectations. Balances IT project scope, schedule, quality, and risks. Identifies and makes recommendations to Change Delivery to make adjustments to the overall project delivery plan as necessary. Develops, implements, and maintains the IT Project Plan. Ensures that all requirements, project plans, and changes to commitment are communicated to all affected team members. Manages IT project relationships and coordinates work between different teams at different locations. Manages the delivery of the end to end IT Solution including any 3rd party deliveries that may be required. Ensures that the end product meets the IT project specification. Ensures that the IT project team follows all quality assurance processes, including periodic reviews and transitions. Reviews and manages all changes to the IT project requirements through a formally defined scope-change process. Represents the IT project team at business and 3rd party meetings At all times, act in accordance to all Company policies, with the FCA's Principles, Rules and Guidance and other relevant legislation. Delivers processes and systems to ensure that a consistent, acceptable level of service is provided to customers, that complaints are handled fairly and that action is taken to reduce the causes of complaints and in line with the Customer Experience and Treating Customers Fairly policy. Knowledge & Experience. Ability to work in an agile environment Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Proven IT project management experience in a Financial services environment, the majority of which should be based on managing application development projects Financial Services experience preferred Familiar working with multiple project management tool sets. Managed teams across multiple locations Managed third party software and application supplier deliveries Managed multiple stakeholders at senior levels of the organisation Personal Skills Leadership Stakeholder Management Planning Problem Solving Customer Focus Qualifications: Educated to degree level preferred PRINCE2 certification or proven track record in integration or IT Project Management.
