Maintenance Electrician Competitive rates dependent on skills BD3 We are currently seeking an industrial maintenance electrician to ensure all electrical equipment associated with our process are running safely and efficiently, using both proactive and reactive maintenance methods. You will need to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as required electrical equipment. Working within an established maintenance team you will in addition to maintaining the plant get involved in project and continuous improvement works. This job is unique in the fact that no two days are ever the same. You could be using your expertise to fault find on a control system or working with the fitters on a mechanical breakdown you will gain a wealth of experience working on varied and interesting plant. Main Duties The role will involve the inspection, testing and maintenance on equipment such as electrical motor drive systems, associated drive control systems including inverter drives. This may lead to the need to carry out emergency unscheduled maintenance work. Examples of plant; ·3 phase motors ·Starters and controls ·Electronic control systems ·Level and pressure measurement ·Programmable logic controllers ·Variable speed drives and controls ·Chemical handling and dosing equipment Participate in a stand-by rota following training Who are we looking for? ·A qualified electrician with experience working on industrial plant equipment. ·Ideally apprenticeship-served with 17th/18th edition electrician. · Due to the nature of this role domestic experience is not suitable. ·You must have the ability to work with minimum supervision and have knowledge of relevant health and safety issues.
