Overview
Maintenance Supervisor Location: Loughborough, Leics Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience) Days only shift (typically 0800-1630) The Company My client is a successful global innovation company with a vast range of manufactured products across various industries. At this award-winning site in Loughborough they manufacture a range of pharmaceutical products including tablets, creams and inhalers. The Opportunity As a maintenance supervisor, you will oversee and lead shift maintenance engineers, in the maintenance and repair of Mechanical, Electrical, Pneumatic and PLC controlled Packaging Process, and Plant Equipment. You will be responsible for evaluating problematic systems or facilities and determining what remedial or continuous Improvement activities need to be performed, in order to ensure Safe, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) compliant equipment, facilities and utilities for the Manufacturing areas. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate strong leadership and ability to develop and lead a maintenance team. Setting goals for performance and timelines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision. Weekly/ Monthly review of team and Individuals performance. Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks. Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching. Must ensure that planned, predictive and reactive maintenance is completed and reported on electro-mechanical systems Plant and process equipment, Ensure that equipment and assets are maintained in a safe, compliant and reliable manner. Provide "hands on" Engineering support and be the next level of escalation when equipment issues arise within the value streams. About You The ideal applicant will have strong demonstrable supervisory/leadership experience within a manufacturing environment The ideal applicant will be an experienced multi-skilled (Mechanical and/or Electrical) engineer who can demonstrate a strong understanding of Process Packaging and Process Manufacturing equipment. You will have knowledge of and have worked with equipment using Servo drives, PLCs and HDMI interfaces.
