Overview
Reed Accountancy and Finance are proud to be working again with a continuously growing Chartered Accountants with offices across Scotland who are looking to take on board an Audit Senior as a direct result of this growth. You would be joining an enthusiastic team of 3 in a progressive environment that will give you the platform oversee junior members of staff and lead from the front. They have offices across Scotland and the successful candidate will have flexibility to work from any of them. Responsibilities include: Ensuring successful completion of assigned audit engagements, from start to finish, inclusive of preplanning and wrap up activities Managing and directing daily activities of more junior auditors assigned to assist the Audit Senior during an engagement Applying risk and control concepts to scenarios encountered and identifies any potential issues Communicating and identifying issues with Internal Audit senior management to ensure any concerns are addressed in a timely and effective manner Previous experience of working in a similar role is essential together with the ability to work well in high pressure situations and under your own initiative. To succeed, you must also be hard working, self-motivated, enjoy a challenge and be willing to work as part of a team to tight deadlines.
