Overview
Due to the continued growth and development of this York based law firm, it now seeks to recruit a 2 years' experienced law costs draftsmen to start as soon as possible. You will be joining a busy department and will be required to have experience in drafting anything ranging from standard fast track PI cases right up to complex clinical negligence. The Role: Your duties will include drafting formal and informal bill of costs on cases that include: - cavity wall insulation claims - clinical negligence - commercial litigation - catastrophic injury - industrial disease - RTA - financial claims - holiday claims You will be drafting and negotiating the cost of all the above case types; occasional negotiation and advocacy could be required as well as training the firm's less experienced employees. On offer is a competitive salary package (depending on experience), 22 days holiday plus bank holiday, your birthday off, company pension and many more.
