Overview
Role - Head of Finance Location - Cheadle Salary - £70,000 - £75,000 package FJR Finance is recruiting for a fast-growing technology business in their search for a Head of Finance to work out of their newly refurbished offices in Cheadle. The Head of Finance will need to be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong academic background. The ability to manage and develop a finance team is critical and you will need advanced Excel skills. Any exposure to working within a technology business would be a distinct advantage. Previous experience of dealing with senior management and challenging where appropriate is essential and you will need to be prepared to be 'hands on' and communicate well with various divisions. Any knowledge of due diligence would be preferable although not essential. Key duties for the Head of Finance will include: - Budgeting and forecasting - Year-end accounting - Liaising with and being the financial representative for auditors, banks, tax partners etc. - Leading the implementation of a new accounting system - Business partnering and producing reports for various departments - Assist with due diligence on potential acquisitions - Completion of management accounts - Profit and loss analysis - Management of a small finance team - Ad-hoc project work Salary is up to £75,000 competitive benefits package This innovative and exciting business is going to experience real growth in 2020 and they are looking for a dynamic and personable Head of Finance to report into the CFO.
