C++ or C# Software Developers Employment - Full time Location - Teesside Salary - Competitive and negotiable ABOUT THE ROLE As a result of continued growth, my client are looking for a C++ or C# Software Developer to work on the development of a new software solution for one of their international clients. My Client is an established supplier of Control Systems and Asset Management Systems to national and local authorities responsible for highways and transport. They're looking for a passionate and ambitious Software Developer to help create a high quality, creative software solution. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading software and IT business, with an amazing team and ambitious growth plans. Working within a multi-skilled, cross-disciplinary software team, you should be innovative and self- motivated with excellent skills in communication, problem solving, and team working. Key Responsibilities  Design, develop and test high quality software  Work as part of a team.  Produce good quality documentation. ABOUT YOU We're looking for a candidate with a passion for technology and problem solving, who is ready for a new challenge. You'll need to build a strong relationship with the customer and act as their trusted advisor; helping them to improve their business through the pragmatic use of technology. Strong candidates will enjoy using technology creatively; you will possess a desire to understand how businesses work, and an ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in C++ or C# development is essential. A knowledge of Docker, Linux, RabbitMQ and Agile development processes would be very useful but we recognise that good developers can transfer their skills from one technology to another. Essential Skills:  C++ or C#  Good interpersonal skills Desirable skills:  Linux  RabbitMQ  Knowledge of Docker  Familiarity with Agile Development  Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio  Unit testing  Familiarity with version control systems, such as GIT, and branching strategies  Continuous integration and build automation ABOUT US We're a software development and IT business, with an international client base, who strive to help clients deliver their business and operational objectives.
