Software Development Project Manager
Overview
Software Development Project Manager We are looking for an experienced individual to manage a key project in our 5G product portfolio. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the project manager is responsible for meeting the performance, schedule and budget objectives of the project. Responsibilities will include: · Line management of project members · Resource planning, work assignment and progress tracking ensuring project is delivered on time and within budget · Ensure project adherence to company design and development processes · Reporting project status to key stakeholders · Supporting project team members ensuring they have necessary software and/or hardware tools for the project · Managing project and patch releases · Introducing a new product into production (NPI) · Maintaining a project risk register Requirements: · Excellent communication skills both written and verbal · experience in technical/project management or team leadership of software applications in the telecom domain · Agile development experience from a technical/management perspective or equivalent · Experience with Scrum and/or SAFe is an advantage · Experience in mobile communications and 3GPP standards is an advantage · Must have proven leadership and organizational skills · Ability to engage with senior leadership and other key stakeholders · Experience managing/leading distributed teams across multiple time zones Keywords : Software, 5G, 3GPP, SAFe, Scrum, Telecom, NPI, New Product Introduction Software Development Project Manager Location: Stevenage, Hertfordshire Salary: very competitive plus 15% bonus and excellent benefits
