Your new role You will be monitoring development activities, change management tickets on Jira, and their impact on Global Operations Responsible for disaster recovery, troubleshooting and driving resolution of issues Assisting build team to resolve build/deployment issues Creating/improving reports related to Operations You will also play a pivotal role in analyzing and optimizing the trading platform You will oversee key projects including the implementation of new environments Investigate software bugs Capacity planning Managing operational batch processing What you'll need to succeed Experience in a technical operations support role High level of proficiency in Python, SQL and UNIX shell scripting Ability to read and evaluate C++ (desired) Comfort with Control-M and Patrol (desired) Systems Administration experience Network Administration experience (desired) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills (a must) Vigorous desire to learn securities business and the firms technology Ability to work well in a dynamic team oriented environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills What you'll get in return Casual dress code Free lunch Highly competitive salary and bonus structure Retirement plan with matching contributions Gym membership Group Health Plan Life Insurance.
