Your new role PURPOSE OF JOB Functional testing of customer products using bench top test equipment and customer supplied test procedures. Fault finding and identification of failed units to component level. PRIMARY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Functional testing of new and existing products according to customer specifications and requirements. Yield measurement, recording and analysis. Monitor and identify failure modes and feedback possible solutions to production supervisor, management and/or engineering. Investigation into customer returns. Ensure all work is completed to specified levels of acceptable workmanship. Follow company procedures and strict work instructions at all times. Follow guidance and training from colleagues and peers. Ensure all work is carried out and completed in a timely fashion. Basic maintenance of equipment and general upkeep of the workspace. Ensure Health & Safety of self and work colleagues at all times. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to the Health and Safety requirements and regulations Adhere to the Company IT and Data policy Comply with the statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements Carry out any other reasonable request which is for the benefit of the business Assist in the training of team members ensuring best practice standards are maintained. What you'll need to succeed Educated to at least GCSE standard or equivalent. ONC Electronics qualification Knowledge and experience in ATE testing. Knowledge of standard test equipment such as oscilloscopes Three years' experience in production testing at an electronics manufacturing company. Use and experience of test equipment associated with RF electronics such as spectrum and network analysers. Computer literate.
