Principle DevOps Engineer - Up to £90,000 - Leeds

£1 Billion worth of cloud projects delivered in the last 5 years. You will work on an enterprise scale. Technology Agnostic. You will work with the latest technology from AWS to Kubernetes. They specialise in delivering ground breaking solutions within the public, financial and energy sector. You have the chance to join them as a Principle DevOps to further develop their DevOps function and capabilities. The role will be a split between hands on engineering and managing a team. In terms of hands on, as a consultant, no two days will be the same. However there are a few responsibilities that will remain consistent. Working on: CI/CD pipelines, Cloud Architecture (AWS/Azure), Containers (Docker, Kubernetes), Automation, Configuration Management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and IAC (Terraform, Cloudformation). In addition to remaining hands on, you will be tasked with growing a team of highly skilled and certified engineers. This will require prior leadership experience and being comfortable with C-level stakeholders. In return my client will support your personal development in certifications and conferences.
