Overview
My Crewe based client is currently looking to appoint an Assistant Finance Manager to work alongside the Senior Finance Manager to provide professional support to the business and to ensure timely and accurate Management and Financial reporting. Duties and responsibilities Analysis of P&L to ensure all revenue and costs are accounted for each month and relevant accruals/WIP adjustments are made. Liaison with the relevant operational managers to ensure revenue and cost information is available Assist with the production of the Management Accounts Packs for the Board. Liaise with the Accountants across the group to provide relevant information for Tax returns and Year End reporting. Liaison with suppliers across the group to ensure the correct supplier set up process is maintained and all relevant information recorded Process supplier payments, payroll and tax payments and reconciliation of the bank Monitor receipts and payments and complete bank reconciliations Manage the daily cash and complete cash forecasts. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register Update foreign exchange rates and monitor the impact of currency transactions Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis. Reconcile the VAT reports Assist with the annual budget and quarterly cash forecasts. Assist with the Year End Audit. Candidates will ideally be ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified but candidates who are QBE may be considered. Project or management accounting experience is essential, as are strong analytical skills and a pragmatic focus on commercial issues Internal or external audits experience and project control and reporting practice would be highly desirable
