Looking for a varied role within a well established friendly accountancy practice in Stockport? Your new firm This two partner established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Stockport City Centre are looking to recruit a Senior Accountant to join the team on either a full time or part time basis. This job opportunity has arisen due to a retirement in the team. Your new role As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for working with a portfolio of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies to prepare year end financial statements, corporate and personal tax computations and ad hoc management accounts and VAT returns. You will work in an autonomous role and be responsible for liaising with your clients to collate the records, resolve queries and sometimes discuss their accounts. The firm will consider 3 days a week or full time hours. What you'll need to succeed The firm are seeking an ACA, ACCA, AAT or QBE accountant who has experience of preparing and submitting year end accounts for a range of businesses. You must be able to work autonomously, demonstrate good communication experience and have previous exposure to cloud based software. Salary will pay up to £35000 dependent on experience and qualification, 23 days holiday plus bank holidays and the opportunity to work either part time or full time hours.
