Overview
Super Client seeking to fill their vacancy of 'Infrastructure Engineer'. The position requires someone with previous experience in telecommunications, cabling and communications, who can fulfil the essential skills section below. You may have had previous experience in roles such as telecommunications engineer, cabling engineer or communications engineer. The required 'Infrastructure Engineer' will hold a combination of traits from each of these positions. It is essential that you have the ability to work alone, using initiative, but also consider the wider team and other consequences. Essential Skills: Structured copper cabling Installation, management and support of existing physical infrastructure Communications and data cable premises installation Communications and data cabinet cabling Internal and external physical communications and data equipment installation. Examples, not limited to; servers, switches, routers, wireless access points, external wireless point to point. Telephony installation, management and support (training to be provided) CCTV installation, management and support Access Control installation and management Fibre optic cabling (training to be provided) Larger project end user device rollout (PC, iPad, etc) Audio visual equipment installation. Examples, not limited to; Interactive whiteboards, screens, projectors, audio. Please note a full, clean driving licence is required to meet the requirements of this role. A detailed-oriented individual, who can estimate and prioritise effectively, to meet deadlines. An organised, coordinated, confident and pro-active member of the team. Demonstrate an ability to remain calm and composed whilst dealing with internal company pressures. Be willing to go the extra mile for the sake of the customer and the business.
