Overview

Our client is a leading design and manufacturer in their industry who deliver forward thinking, innovative products and solutions to their customer base. This is an incredibly exciting time for the business who have recently embarked on significant growth plans to include a site move and proactively increasing the number of talented individuals working in their teams. They are now looking to acquire the services of an experienced, well organised and dynamic Project Planner to provide a professional and efficient project planning service in order to facilitate successful project delivery across the business. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Planner who has experience using Primavera and/or MS Project and has worked alongside a busy production team. This is a collaborative and fast-moving business who can provide longevity, ongoing support and a great benefits package in addition to working in a role which will give the successful candidate immense job satisfaction on a daily basis. Provide planning input to the tender process ensuring that proposals made to the customer are effective and deliverable. Produce and maintain all project and productions plans to actively support the engineers. Utilise planning data to provide details of manpower and resource needs. Forecasting costs. Integrate project plans to an ensure business capability and capacity is fully maximised. All system maintenance to include maintaining planning data and associated templates. Ensuring all planning documents are suitably controlled and accessible within the business management system. Coordinate the plan inputs associated with Tasks, Manpower, Materials and other resources. Support performance reviewing and reporting to include reports on the project function. Attend internal and external meetings as required. Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience in a Project/Production Planning role using Primavera and/or MS Project is essential A recognised Project Planning qualification is desirable Acute eye for detail Strong communicator Team player and collaborative mentality to work Very well organised Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Experience working in the rail industry is highly desirable but not essential If you are interested in the above role, then please apply with an updated copy of your CV or call Joanna Middleton for more information on .
