This is lovely 20 bedded home that specialises in elderly and dementia care. They are a part of a small, family-run care company with multiple homes in Hampshire and a focus on person-centred care. The home is located in Otterbourne, between Eastleigh and Winchester, and is easily accessible by both road and public transport with good links from Southampton. Please see the below details on this unmissable vacancy: Job Role - Senior Care Assistant (Days & Nights) Hours - Full Time (36-48 hours per week, alternate weekends) Shifts - 8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm, 8pm-8am Service - Residential Rate of Pay- £10.50-11.50 per hour Senior Care Assistant Duties: To Supervise and participate in the delivery of care to residents To lead on the responsibility of residents individual care plans to ensure a person centres approach To provide leadership and support to the care assistants Responsible for the administration of medication Liaise directly with families and friends offering them professional and emotional support Maintain residents dignity and independence at all times As a senior care assistant you will be expected to lead by example at all times and provide strong leadership skills to the rest of the care assistants. You should have a strong work ethic and embody your care homes attitude towards delivering the highest standards of care.
