Overview
Our client is a rapidly expanding telecoms company with exciting growth plans. Due to an increasing workload they are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to work on FTTH / FTTP builds across Kent and the South Coast. Responsibilities: Reporting to the Director, you will be responsible for the fibre build from conception to completion; ensuring that works are delivered on time and within budget Promoting good health and safety practices and ensuring that all areas meet with the strict standards expected across the business Ensuring all completed works documentation and as-builts are submitted within the required timescales to allow for upload Management of multiple workstreams at any given time Managing risk by ensuring all incidents are accurately reported and adequate plans are in place Maintaining a good working relationship with local highway authorities to ensure maximum cooperation and engagement Ensuring that all supplier contracts are in place whilst keenly managing relationships Working with management to ensure productivity and KPIs are recorded, measured and reported accurately Taking ownership of budgets and spending along with identifying and reporting strategies for cost saving measures Requirements: Experience of managing the delivery of large-scale telecoms (FTTH / FTTP) projects Qualified with NRSWA Supervisors with good knowledge of fibre You must be confident with managing people and providing guidance to ensure a cohesive team environment Comfortable with delivering presentations to keep required parties informed of progress throughout the lifecycle of the project You should have excellent IT and communication skills fibre delivery management telecoms fttp ftth fttc fttx telecom overhead civils underground excavation splice joint nrswa streetwork
