Overview

Role: Senior Test Analyst Salary: £45k plus benefits Location: Leicester Industry: Software House A seasoned Software Tester looking for a new technical challenge is required to work in a fast paced, agile software house based in central Leicester. You need to have expertise in a range of manual testing techniques, with a passion for improving yourself and more junior members of the QA team around you. A good communicator, you will have a 'go to' knowledge and an approachable personality. Core Experience Experience in the testing of complex software Good experience of API testing, ideally REST API's using Postman Experience of using exploratory testing. Knowledge and experience of integration, functional and non-functional testing Good understanding of industry standards and best practices Proven track record in a fast paced, Agile delivery environment Knowledge on defect management tools such as JIRA Good knowledge of client and server-side web technologies and potential integration issues Understanding of integration tests, coded UI tests and/or Smoke Tests. Excellent experience of working in an agile environment. Desirable Skills Fundamental understanding of telecoms and VoIP.
