Zero Hour Intensive Living Support Worker Hours: Zero hour contract Salary: £9.35 per hour, enhanced rate for evenings and weekends We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, energetic and conscientious zero hour Support Worker’s to join our Intensive Supported Living Service in the Solent area of Hampshire. You will take responsibility for the running of the home as a lone worker and within a team, supporting young people to develop independent living skills to enable them to live independently in the community. Shift’s cover days, evenings and weekends with sleep in’s. As part of our team, you will deliver the highest standards of care, protection and support to our young people by facilitating their physical and psychological development. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a team of dedicated, hard-working professionals. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality support to young people and adults with social, education/vocational and health care needs. The role will involve being integral to an intensive supported living culture. Personal Skills Our ideal candidate will be a positive and motivated individual with excellent communication skills helping to guide our young people with general life skills. We would like you to demonstrate a flexible approach to the task and be resilient under pressure. Previous experience of working with young people and/or adults with health/social care/educational needs is highly desirable. A Level 3 qualification in childcare is a plus, but not essential. All candidates must have a full driving licence and have access to the use of a car. Successful candidates will be required to provide an enhanced Disclosure (DBS). The disclosure cost will be met by Fair Ways.
