Registered General Nurse (RGN) £19 per hour dependant on experience We are looking to fulfil the roles of both Full time and part time posts. Permanent roles Established, compassionate and friendly Ammanford Care Home based in the heart of Llandybie, requires caring and professional nurses to come join our busy team. Already an established residential home, Glanmarlais Care Home is transitioning to become a dual registered nursing home. We are looking to recruit a staff of knowledgeable and diligent nurses to come join our existing experienced Clinical Lead. Our home is an elderly dementia care home located in a recently renovated building refurbished to a high level of standards (all ensuite rooms, multiple communal areas etc.). The home is close to Ammanford town centre and located minutes from the M4. We pride ourselves on creating a fantastic, fun atmosphere for our teams to work in and are looking for enthusiastic, caring individuals to come join us. This is a great opportunity for the right person to enter our growing organisation (we have a sister residential care home only 30 minutes away in Swansea also) as we look to further develop the environment our lovely residents call home. We’ll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored care plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do. As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you’ll have the autonomy to do things the right way – and be truly valued and respected for what you do. Successful candidates will work as part of the highly skilled care team within Glanmarlais. You will support both the Home Manager and Clinical Lead in maintaining the high standard of care available for our residents. The ethos of our home is that care should be person centred and residents should be able to live their life to the fullest of their abilities and in accordance with their wishes. Alongside our Managers, Carers and Nurses, Glanmarlais also employs a full time Activities Coordinator and Deputy Manager to help the home run well. The responsibilities of the nurse team within Glanmarlais will be: · Ensuring residents receive person centred, high quality care in accordance with their care plan · Ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed to a high standard · Working alongside other members of the care team and management in order to ensure quality of care is maintained at all times . Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important too, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
