About the job area: This is a really exciting opportunity to join our team as a Professional Development Coordinator. Working in our Battle Bridge office (flexible working possible), you will support the Head of Clinical Leadership and Development in the delivery of a leadership development programme for clinicians and associated colleagues across all Bupa's UK businesses. What you'll be doing You'll work with various internal stakeholders across our clinical and operational community, including senior leaders. You'll also engage external suppliers in the delivery of course workshops. You'll take the lead on creating activities to support learning, development, training, knowledge-sharing and experience-sharing. These activities include coordinating small regional events, helping to organise conferences and facilitating development initiatives. Ultimately your work will support in the creation of a strong and vibrant community of clinical and operational leaders. What's a typical day? Coordinate the delivery of all aspects of the leadership programme, including classroom-style modules, coaching clinics and mentoring sessions. Lead and collaborate on cross-business projects to drive quality and business improvements through clinical leadership initiatives. Support in the delivery of a programme of events and activities that engage and aim to build a strong and vibrant alumni community across the UK. Support with events across the business to support clinicians in their roles. Work with the people team, communications team, marketing team and IT team as necessary on marketing the development activities. Support and promote mandatory learning and development for clinical colleagues Work with clinical colleagues to create content that supports learning and professional development, to share internally, and if appropriate, externally. Who we're looking for? Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills Excellent organisation and time management skills and able to prioritise tasks Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines and use initiative Experience of building effective networks within and across organisational boundaries Able to work collaboratively with clinicians across all clinical professions Ideally works in the care sector or has a passion to work in this sector What's it like to work here?
