Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a leading independent accountancy firm to provide them a with a Corporate Tax/ Missed Tax Senior join their team on a Permanent Basis Full Time Salary - negotiable dependent upon experience- Please submit CV with rate Required Your Role A leading independent accountancy firm based in Stockport, is looking to bring a senior into its growing tax advisory team. The preferred candidate is likely to be CTA qualified (or equivalent), or working towards this goal. If you are ATT qualified, then this would also be very much of interested to our client. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong corporate tax focus, although individuals with mixed tax backgrounds with clear corporate tax credentials will also be positively considered. Clients are typically fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and often family-owned businesses, and the preferred candidate will bring similar characteristics of drive, energy and enthusiasm to the role. The role will be heavily weighted towards tax advisory work, with typical areas of exposure including: Research & development tax claim consulting Corporate acquisitions and disposals Management buy outs Corporate reorganisations International expansion and cross border structuring Share scheme advice, including compliance Some limited complex corporate tax compliance work Although not essential, experience with other taxes including VAT and stamp taxes would also be welcome. The successful candidate will be joining a strong and growing advisory team consisting of three managers and three partners, who in turn are supported by a large corporate tax compliance team. Excellent career support and progression will be available for the right person. Ideal candidates will have practice experience and be CTA or ATT qualified or working towards these qualifications.
