Overview
Level Executive are delighted to be working with a boutique Financial Planning firm in Birmingham who are looking for an experienced Paraplanner to join their team. Dealing with a variety of cases from retirement planning, investment, inheritance tax planning to personal wealth and corporate planning. Working closely with the adviser providing technical support, the ideal candidate will be providing support on all areas concerning holistic financial planning. Key responsibilities of the position: Research and undertake technical assessments of cases submitted by Advisers. Analysing client’s circumstances, portfolios and objectives and preparing appropriate reports. Produce compliant and technically accurate suitability letters and reports Assist in answering client queries give them a service which surpasses their expectations Liaise with compliance department regarding technical queries Preparing for client meetings including checking that all compliance paperwork is present. Undertaking fund performance comparisons Building and maintaining client relationships Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Company discretionary bonus scheme Exam support and progression 25 days’ holiday, Pension and Life Assurance Requirements Previous experience in a Paraplanning role (specifically writing suitability reports and assisting with pension transfers) Level 4 Diploma qualified or near, working towards Chartered status is highly desirable Excellent technical knowledge of pensions and investments Knowledge or use of adviser office or similar
