Production Operative

Production Operative Trafford Park, Manchester 06:50-18:50 (£8.21ph) Or 18:50-06:50 (£9.21ph) 4 shifts per week from Sunday-Friday SATURDAY OFF Proman are looking for both packers and production operatives on behalf of our client, based in Trafford Park. Our client, one of the UKs largest brands in bakery snacks and the production of malt loaf, are on the search for positive individuals to join their rapidly growing team. The Role: Manufacturing of food products is highly automated, meaning this role is not necessarily a food production role. Your role will include: · Packing · Working on the production line · Quality checking all products · Removing defective items · Keeping machines supplied with materials and labels · Reporting machine faults to shift supervisors and maintenance staff You will be expected to keep the machines and production areas as clean as possible during and after your shift The Candidate: · Good observational skills to be able to spot defective products · Have patience to carry out repetitive tasks · Can work quickly and meet production targets · To be able to work independently where needed, but also part of a team · Have a acceptable standard of personal hygiene · You will need to be flexible (as the factory operative 24hr Sunday to Friday) · To be able to work in warm conditions A candidate that can present previous experience in a similar role, (production or packing) is desired. However, no experience is needed as full training is provided The UK is set to depart from the EU on 31st January 2020.
