Overview
A fantastic opportunity to join an Industry leading business who are now looking for a Commercial Buyer to join their expanding Purchasing team. Reporting in to the Purchasing Manager and working alongside a team of Buyers you will be responsible for understanding and analysing market trends, using the system for forecasting purposes and developing long-standing relationships with your portfolio of suppliers. Purchasing off the shelf parts - Over 20k products stocked Working closely with suppliers to understand market trends Ensuring materials and services are sourced at the best possible price & quality and ensuring goods are delivered on time Communicating regularly with planning and technical departments monitoring any issues that might affect the business Skills and Experience: Strong commercial acumen Proven track record in driving cost down whilst not compromising quality Manufacturing or Retail background preferable Ability to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment Salary up to £32,000 plus bonus, pension and Holidays Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8.30-3pm
