Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer on behalf of a main contractor who specialise in the industrial & retail sector, constructing a new build distribution centre in Aberdeen. This is a freelance position for a period of around 6-7 months. The successful Site Engineer will have experience working on similar schemes and be responsible for: Setting out the foundations Setting out HD Bolts Establishing the gridlines for the steel erection Putting the cross hairs on the bolts Managing the steel erection Managing and working with relevant sub-contractors Quality Assuring all work The Site Engineer will be report to the onsite Project Manager about progress. It would also be advantageous for this role if the Site Engineer could supply their own kit & laptop, as well as have an understanding of CAD.
