Technical Valuations Analyst
Overview
The Ocean Partnership has been engaged to recruit an exciting opportunity to join a growing global investment management organisation who are on the cusp of rapid expansion. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in newly created role with extensive exposure to a range of senior stakeholders within the firm. As the Technical Valuations Analyst, you will review dealing spreads across a wide range of different funds. In addition, you will gain exposure to new product and fund launches. Key R emits: Valuing a number of active and index unitised and non-unitised funds. Continually looking for ways to refine and improves processes based on an excellent knowledge of the way valuations are calculated. Utilising excellent data skills to model and evaluate complex index data sets using Excel VBA. Contributing towards the successful lunch of new fund ranges. Required Experience: Excellent understanding and experience with index data and the calculation of NAVs. Excellent data modelling skills including use of MS Excel VBA, MS Access. Strong experience of calculating valuations and the process for determining. Experience gained from working within an investment management firm, custodian or index data provider.
