Food Regulatory Supervisor / Projects Coordinator – New Product Development Uxbridge Are you a highly organised, articulate and motivated person? Do you enjoy working at pace where no day is the same? Then keep reading This is an excellent opportunity to use your experience in coordinating projects to support our new product development programmes in the EMEA region from a regulatory point of view. You will support the rationalisation of department processes, streamline project communications and work closely and proactively with key stakeholders. This role is about overseeing procedures, tracking project status and guiding the team in delivering key project milestones. Day-to-day you will be involved in feeding back regulatory issues regarding ingredient usage, product category and market acceptance. You will also use your knowledge of regulations, report preparation and registration/notification to prepare project plans and help colleagues accomplish objectives. You will assist in reviewing new preliminary and concept formulas to determine ingredient acceptability too. Important will be the ability to monitor regulatory developments and communicate changes and subsequent recommendations to management and other departments to ensure we continue to comply. What are we looking for? Probably you will have a degree in Science, Food Science, Chemistry or similar. And ideally have experience gained in the dietary supplements, food products or cosmetics sector. We would like to see that you have a record of managing projects in a new product development environment and possess a good understanding of relevant EU legislation and national laws. Experience in the regulatory processes covering the notification or registration of products would be preferred too. Detail orientated, you will possess exceptional prioritising and project planning skills. A great communicator, you will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and used to working with evolving goals and objectives. You are also the type of person who can analyse complex technical data and develop recommendations and solutions. A second European language and expertise with recognised project management tools, such as Agile, would also be an advantage.
