Overview
Eden Scott's client is a well-established food manufacturing business based South of Aberdeen. There is now an opportunity for a security officer to join the business on a long term basis. This job is temporary for a minimum of 12 weeks and could go permanent thereafter. Reporting to the Security Manager the successful candidate will ensure that the site and colleagues are safe and secure at all times. Duties Include: Maintain Health and Safety Standards Maintain Hygiene Standards Communicate effectively Security duties at the gatehouse Booking in and out vehicles/visitors Booking in product Overseeing float drivers, who arrive late, in the byre Weighing of vehicles Manning of telephones out with reception hours Booking in and out of staff Checking and reading chills, boilers and effluent plant Evacuation procedure co-ordination Record keeping/document administration Monitoring and reacting to fire and plant alarms Monitoring CCTV Ensure the site housekeeping is kept to a high standard eg: picking up litter Candidates will have: SIA Security badge (Preferable). Ability to work well on your own as well as part of a team Ability to communicate to all levels Friendly manner Hours: Various hours Salary: £9 per hour plus overtime rates.
