The Role From September 2020, we have exciting new opportunities for Online Learning Tutors for our growing CIPD Team. This role will be primarily home based. You will be CIPD qualified, well organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet agreed deadlines. At the same time, you should bring a flexible approach to working hours. You will have a passion about education, are highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a commitment to learner achievement and success. Responsible to Curriculum Co-ordinator for HR/L&D Programmes, you will be responsible to for the teaching and learning of a select portfolio of courses - CIPD Human Resource Management. You will be expected to take a lead in raising student engagement, student progression and completion through motivating and inspiring students. The role requires the ability to analyse the education and skills landscape, identify and evaluate opportunities and make recommendations and changes to the teaching and learning programme within your portfolio. With relevant experience in the design and delivery of educational programmes you will be responsible for driving improvement within your course portfolio. This role involves liaising with all departments within the organisation as well as external stakeholders. Core Responsibilities To provide academic assistance to online learning students through the ICS Learn online student community; To raise student engagement, progression and completion through motivating and inspiring students; To make recommendations and changes for the development and maintenance of a subject specific portfolio. This includes ensuring that course materials meet the needs of customers, industry standards and the requirements of awarding and regulatory bodies; To utilise the applications of the online student community to maximise the experience and participation of the students and improve the efficiency of the teaching model; Deliver live Induction and teaching sessions via Webex; Participate in IQA and Standardisation activities as directed.
