Year 1 Teacher position Zone 2 London- Camden Supportive primary school £32,070 - £49,571 Inner London PayScale, MPS2 - UPS3 Permanent, Full-Time Year 1 Teacher role Year 1 Teacher Specification The school are looking for a Year 1 Teacher who has the creativity to deliver outstanding lessons in an environment where learning through play is championed. Ideally, the school would like to see a Year 1 Teacher with a number of years’ experience, but they also have the support structure in place to support any NQT. As a Year 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth transition from Reception through to Year 2. It is essential that you have the ability to adjust your lessons to suit the individual needs of all children. About the Year 1 Teacher role In this Year 1 Teacher position, you will be taking over a class of 26 year 1 pupils. The pupils in this class have adjusted to the school environment throughout Reception and are now excited to be moving into Year 1. The SLT are keen to create a holistic learning environment with a huge emphasis on learning through play. The school will provide all the guidance and resources for the Year 1 Teacher to ensure every child can access the curriculum.
