Overview
Test Technician (Contract - 3 months) Type of company: Robotics - Mechanical Engineering Based: North and Central London (nr. Kentish Town) Daily rate: £300 to £420 per day depending on your experience Start date: mid-April Are you an experienced Test Technician with an interest/passion for robotics? Mechanically minded and skilled with motors, actuators, building and observing test rigs, capturing and communicating data with a thorough approach to testing? And are you based in London and able to work in/near Central London each day (in a large workspace where people are working from home)? If you're looking for a huge company with loads of structure, then this role is not the right contract for you. This is a standalone Test Technician role based on a client site for a robotics company where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day running and data capture of forty test rigs or more. Your skills and experience will show many of the following: Experience as a test technician and running lots of mechanical/electronics experiments Mechanical / electro-mechanical / mechatronics skillset Able to work autonomously as you’ll be based on the client site with engineers based elsewhere in London Accurately capturing data and communicating this with the engineering team An interest in robotics (this would be great but not essential) We'd also love the new test technician to display the following: Curiosity Team player Maturity in your role as it is autonomous The desire to continually learn Look forward to hearing from you soon.
